Game 7: No Tomorrow for Celtics or Heat

The Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics have pulled all the dramatics in this series. They went into overtime in Games 2 and 4. Now, both teams will have one more chance at gaining entry to the NBA Finals in tonight's Game 7 matchup.

The Miami Heat took over the momentum in Game 6.

Though Game 6 lacked any drama, people wondered if LeBron James would simply bow down. We all know he did not, as James finished the night with 45 points.

Can he do it again in Game 7 for a Heat's team that is struggling from the floor?

Better question, will the Celtics figure out how to stop James and force him to give the ball to his teammates?

The last time the Celtics gave up 40 in the playoffs, a hungry Carmelo Anthony was trying to lead his New York Knicks to victory. He scored 42 points but lost in Game 2 of the first round last year.

The Heat did more than win in Game 6. The mercilessly pounded the Celtics, and, more importantly, they tied the series up at three.

The last time there was a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals, the same Miami Heat faced off against the Detroit Pistons in 2005.

The Pistons were fresh out of their 2004 championship and were known for their tough defense. A 23-year old, Dwyane Wade was getting help from Shaquille O'neal, as they both hoped to bring a chip to Miami.

The Pistons were eventually too overwhelming and Detroit won the final game of the series in Miami.

The Celtics will look to wrap up the series like the Pistons did in 2004 and like they did against the Philadelphia 76ers in the Conference Semifinals.

Both teams have experienced lineups and they possess players than can take over games.

If both teams compete the way they can, Game 7 should be another nailbiter.
