EPL Table Standings Results: English Premier League Has Chelsea Leading Arsenal After Liverpool Win In Barclays Saturday

The EPL table standings has a new team on top after the results on Saturday, as Chelsea is leading the English Premier League over Arsenal after winning 3-0 against Newcastle in the Barclays and that came after the Gunners were defeated by Liverpool in a tough game losing by the score of 5-1 and now they have to try and make up that lead next time out.

Manchester City had the chance to make a move, but they are now in third place on the table after pulling to a draw with Norwich City and they are just ahead of Liverpool. The Reds now have 50 points and Chelsea is up one on Arsenal on the League table, while Man City is one behind that.

Coming into the weekend, Arsenal remained at the top of the English Premier League table on Monday after Chelsea won over Manchester City to give the team its first loss in weeks and now the two are even on points in the EPL standings after the Blues won 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Monday and now the teams head into next week's schedule looking to pull even with the Gunners.

Manchester City was in first place in the standings for a short time after winning over Tottenham last week when the Gunners drew with Southampton and now Arsenal has pulled ahead yet again. Manchester City had not lost in quite some time and the Blues snapped their unbeaten streak overall and at the Etihad and now they have come momentum heading into their next match with Newcastle. Chelsea got the early win against Manchester City and that comes before the two will match up again at the Etihad in two weeks for the FA Cup fifth round match and that will be very anticipated.

The Blues have some tough matches coming up after playing Man City and they have the FA Cup and then a matchup at Stamford Bridge with Everton and after that comes Galatasaray at Türk Telekom Arena for the UEFA Champions League last 16 round. Manager Jose Mourinho said all the right things heading into the match and the Blues responded and now Arsenal comes into the weekend in first, while Manchester City and Chelsea are ahead of Liverpool and Everton.
