Daytona 500 Schedule: Speedweeks NASCAR TV Start Time and Race Week Coverage For Great American Event

The Daytona 500 is set for Sunday and the Great American Race will come after a full week of NASCAR events for Speedweeks and after the qualifying over the weekend and some races, the week of coverage begins and the Duels will be on Thursday before the big day on February 23 for the Super Bowl of stock car racing.

Austin Dillon won the pole at Daytona on Sunday and that came after Danica Patrick did it last season and now that is two years in a row that a rookie has the top spot. Dillon came in with the number three car and Patrick did it in surprising fashion last year and ended up finishing eighth in the event. Dillon has received a blessing to use the number and now he takes the top spot for Sunday's race.

The day of the 18 has the UNOH Battle at the Beach going down and then on Thursday will be the big day, as drivers will get locked in an the Budweiser Duel at Daytona races will be going down. The races on Thursday start up at 7 and 8:30 p.m. ET and will be on Fox Sports 1. Last year they were very entertaining and are 60 laps and 150 miles and then on Friday will be the Camping World Truck Series, followed on Saturday by the Nationwide Series first race of the season.

Then on Sunday is the big day, as the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Raceway will go down starting up at 1 pm ET on FOX and it will be for 200 laps and 500 miles.
