NBA Trades 2014: Deadline Trade Has Evan Turner To Pacers For Danny Granger As Indiana and 76ers Deal

The NBA trades at the deadline were small and then big, as Evan Turner was moved for Danny Granger and the Indiana Pacers and Sixers made a deal and the report comes from Yahoo Sports about the 76ers moves after they previously dealt Spencer Hawes.

According to SI.com, Granger was traded for Turner and is comes after Turner was a former number two overall pick and Granger was expected to be trade bait this season with his $14 million expiring deal. Now the Sixers have made multiple moves with Spencer Hawes also getting traded and Granger moves after he previously averaged 25 points five years ago and now he is coming in after averaging less than 10 while playing off the bench after dealing with a knee injury that limited him to five games last year.

Turner was expected to get moved as well and he is having a solid season with 17.4 points, six rebounds and 3.7 assists and he is set to be a free agent as well. Turner brings more depth to the bench and should do more than Granger for the team. The Pacers are the top team, in the east and arte looking to beat the Heat in the playoffs.
