The LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder are playing on Thursday night on the TNT NBA doubleheader and the game is streaming online with Kevin Durant on Turner Network Television from Chesapeake Energy Arena and it starts up at 9:30 pm ET.
The Thunder have been one of the best teams in the league this season and they come in with 47 wins and they have nearly the opposite record of the Lakers, as they are 47-17 and the Lakers come in at 22-42 and they have just been terrible this season. The Lakers are now not going to have Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash back at all this season and now they are looking towards the future and rumors that Bryant doesn't want to play for Mike D'Antoni has pushed rumors involving Phil Jackson once again.
The Thunder come into the game after winning against the Houston Rockets and that game saw Durant score 42 points, while Serge Ibaka ended up with 16 rebounds and they next will play against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The team comes into the game ranked fifth in the league in points per game and rebounds per game and they are 10th in points allowed and 15th in assists per game and they have been one of the most consistent teams in the league. The team is one of the best in the NBA and Durant is averaging over 30 points per game and Russell Westbrook has been very good since returning from his injury.
The Lakers come into the game after a win against the Thunder after a win against Oklahoma City and they next will play the Spurs and that is obviously a tough matchup and they come into the game 12th in scoring and 29th in points allowed and they are also fourth in assists per game. The team is averaging 102 points per game and they are allowing 107 and now they will try and turn things around
