Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid are playing in their second leg Champions League match on Tuesday and the game starts up at 2:45 pm and comes in the quarterfinals on Fox Soccer 2Go streaming and the Spanish side has the advantage with Cristiano Ronaldo and the score and now the two move from Bernabeu to Signal-Iduna-Park for the final matchup.
Real Madrid comes into the matchup after a win on the road against Real Sociedad in La Liga play and that came after a dominant performance against Dortmund last week and that saw a 3-0 victory for the team and they have now scored 12 goals without allowing any over their last three matches, including a 5-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano. This matchup will put the team into the semis in the Champions League and on Tuesday another match with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain will be going down, with the Blues trying to make a comeback to advance.
Ronaldo and Gareth Bale has the team playing very well and they are looking dominant heading into the matchup and this will be the chance for the team to finish things off.
Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski thinks that the team has a chance despite the long odds and Ronaldo leaving training could give them a boost as they try to make up the three goal deficit. Real Madrid has a busy schedule to finish the season, as they play against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey finals and that will be a stiff test as they finish the La Liga Spanish Primera Division season and they have a number of matches at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, including three of the next four after playing against Barca.
The two teams faced off last year in the semifinals and in that matchup Lewandowski put in four goals and that got his team a 4-1 win against Real Madrid and that is the type of match they will need on Tuesday to get things going, but even that won't get it done. The history says that Real has the matchup, but they will not simply play on that notion and Ronaldo said that he knows the team will earn their victory and will not take Dortmund lightly even with the first leg win. As usual, Ronaldo is leading the league in goals at this stage, while Lewandowski is tops for his team as well.
Ronaldo was forced to leave training on and now there is a chance that he may not be ready for the matchup on Tuesday, as coach Carlo Ancelotti wants him 100 percent fresh for the back stretch of the schedule. Ronaldo rested last week and he ended up leaving training after dealing with some pain and now he could be out for the matchup. Either way, Real is in good position to advance and they now have the chance to do that on the road and the matchup comes from FOX and will be streaming online.
