The Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins are playing in the NHL playoffs on Saturday and the Game 5 matchup is streaming online starting at 3 pm from NBC and the Wings are on the bring in the Original Six series, as they are down 3-1 after winning the first game and the matchup from TD Garden comes with a live stream from the NBC Sports Live Extra website.
The Red Wings come in after a loss against the Boston Bruins in overtime and that was a very tough loss at home and now the series moves back to Boston and they come into the playoffs as the number one seed and they are looking to end the series. The Bruins have come on very strong and have won three games in a row and they are third in the league from this season in scoring and they were second in goals against and they have gotten some great play from Tuukka Rask once again and he is looking to have a good game on Saturday.
Rask signed a long extension with the team last year after helping them get to the Stanley Cup finals against the Chicago Blackhawks and he has continued to play well and he is one of the main reasons why they are in this position in the first round. The Penguins are the second seed and they are 2-2 in the Blue Jackets series and the Bruins will get some rest here with a win, and the Canadiens are the other team through after sweeping the Lightning. Milan Lucic and Jarome Iginla scored for the Bruins and they won Game 4 to take the lead and now they are looking to end on Saturday.
