NBA Playoff Standings 2014: Miami Heat Win Series 4-0 Sweep Over Bobcats LeBron James Advances To Second Round

The NBA playoff standings has the Miami Heat in a 4-0 sweep over the Bobcats in their series after the win on Monday night and now LeBron James and the defending champions have advanced to the second round of the postseason and they have played better than anyone else in the first round, as they were the only team to advance without losing a game and they were the first team to advance in the playoffs.

Miami looked good on Monday night and they scored over 100 points, while LeBron James had 31 points and he averaged nearly 30 for the series and now they will be able to rest up as they wait for the next round to finish up. The team will have an advantage over the Brooklyn Nets if they win the series, as they are a veteran team and the Heat now can rest up as they wait and that will be big for Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

James had over 30 points, while Chris Bosh had eight rebounds and the King led with nine assists while Kemba Walker continued his solid play for the Bobcats in the series. Walker had 29 points, while Josh McRoberts led with 10 rebounds and now the Bobcats will go down without a playoff win, as they will be changing into the Charlotte Hornets next season. Also, the Pacers are losing by 30 points.

Check here for the playoffs standings and schedule.

The Miami Heat and Charlotte Bobcats are playing on the NBA schedule on Monday and the matchup is streaming from TNT starting at 7 pm ET and comes as Miami and LeBron James are up 3-0 and they have the chance to sweep and advance in the series and that would give the team a nice break in the schedule heading into the second round of the postseason.

LeBron James and Miami have been playing very well and they are the only team in position to close out their series on Monday night and they are the only team to get into position for a sweep in the first round. James and the Heat are looking to win their third straight championship and fourth straight east title and getting a sweep here could be huge, as everyone on the team is tired from all that basketball and having that extra rest over the Nets or the Raptors could be huge, especially with Brooklyn playing in at least six games in their series after losing on Sunday.

James has been averaging nearly 30 points in the three games and Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade have been very good as well and while the Bobcats are not a great team, they have played Miami tough. Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson have shown why they are very good players, while Miami still has yet to lose a game to the Bobcats since LeBron James signed there. Miami is a heavy favorite in the game on Monday night and the series could be over with a Game 4 win by Miami in Charlotte.
