The NBA playoffs standings has the Brooklyn Nets forcing Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday and that will be at the Air Canada Centre and the Nets dominated the game and got 23 points from Deron Williams and now the series is tied 3-3 and the winner will advance on Sunday to play against the Miami Heat in the second round.
The Nets pulled through after losing in Game 5 and now Game 7 will be coming on Sunday and Williams led the way in scoring and assists for Brooklyn, while the Raptors got 28 points from DeMar DeRozan, who has played very well in the playoffs. The Raptors outscored the Nets in the final quarter, but they were able to build a big enough lead to hang on and now the team has the chance to advance in Game 7.
The NBA schedule on Saturday has some historic matchups, as there has never been three Game 7's going on the same day and now that will play out as the series continue. The Oklahoma City Thunder are now playing for their playoffs lives against the Memphis Grizzlies, as they are hoping to avoid a defeat for the second straight year and they play the middle game on Saturday at 8:00 pm and that will be on TNT. Kevin Durant was blasted for not coming through in Game 5 and he dominated in Game 6 with over 30 points and now the team has the chance to end the series in OKC. Durant and Russell Westbrook have been getting tons of pressure, but they can put all that aside with a series win.
The Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks are the early game and they will be on TNT starting up at 5:30 pm ET and that is the one with the most intrigue. The Hawks won Game 1 and Game 5 and they had a 3-2 lead in the series before the Pacers bounced back and now Indiana is trying to avoid getting bounced as the number one seed in the conference.
The winner of this series will play the Washington Wizards no matter what happens and that could make for some interesting matchups whoever wins and the future of the Pacers could hang in the balance for this game. Frank Vogel could be coaching for his job and Roy Hibbert has all but disappeared and now the team can erase all of that with a win. David West was clutch in Game 6 and he will be relied upon again and the Pacers know they have to try and win this game no matter what.
