The IndyCar series hits Indy on Saturday and the Grand Prix of Indianapolis is live online and on TV from ABC and it comes after Sebastian Saavedra won the pole and the afternoon race has a stream at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.
The Grand Prix got off to a rough start and it came on the starting line with one of the cars and the pole sitter in Sebastian Saavedra and he was knocked by the rest of the field and this is for the inaugural race. Saavedra won the pole on Friday for the race on Saturday and clearly it didn't work out as planned and that pushed Ryan Hunter-Reay into the second spot and while that was a great thing for him, it did not turn out that way later on Saturday.
The pole sitter put up a 1 minute, 23.8822 seconds time for his lap and they are running clockwise at the speedway in Indy and that is the first time and then there will be the Indianapolis 500. The Indy 500 comes later in the month and this is being used to kick that off and this is an important race for Indy. Saavedra has had over 40 starts in his career and he won the pole here before the crash.
