The NBA finals TV schedule picks up on Sunday night and the standings has the Miami Heat down 1-0 in the series after losing in Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs after LeBron James came down with cramps when the air conditioning went out and now the team needs a win for a 1-1 series and the game is on ESPN at 8 pm and streaming online from the WatchESPN website at the now air conditioned AT&T Center.
James was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter of Game 1 with cramps after the air conditioning went out in the arena, which was a huge embarrassment for the Spurs organization and the NBA and that totally played into the outcome of the game. The matchup in Game 2 starts at 8 pm ET on ABC and that will be in San Antonio and is the next chance for Miami to tie up the series. The Heat have always won the game following a loss under the Big 3 era and now this could be the most important one of the bunch.
Last year the Spurs won Game 1 in Miami to start the NBA finals and this year they won it in San Antonio and they have the chance to take a 2-0 series lead with a win. James was having a great game until he had to leave with cramps and while he was hit on by many in the media, he physically could not move and was forced to sit out at the end of the game. The Spurs shot great from long range during the fourth quarter and after the game being close basically the whole way, they pulled away in the fourth quarter and that happened with James out.
Game 3 of the series shifts to Miami and that also starts up at 9 pm and will be on ESPN, while Game 4 is on Thursday after the game on Tuesday and that game also is on ABC and starts up at 9 pm. The Heat are hoping to tie up the series at 1-1 on Sunday night.
