French Open Finals TV Schedule 2014: Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic Start Roland Garros Championship Sunday

The French Open Finals are on the TV schedule on NBC on Sunday with Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal playing and the match is streaming live from the NBC Sports Live Extra website after being on ESPN from Roland Garros and the number 1 rank is on the line for the players on the men's side of the draw for 2014 as Nadal goes for his fifth straight title and ninth overall.

Nadal comes in after an easy win over Andy Murray and the way he is playing he is the favorite in the tournament and he is trying to stop Djokovic from winning his first title at Roland Garros to complete the Grand Slam and he also could get the number one ranking back after Nadal took it from him. Nadal and Djokovic have been on a collision course during this tournament and the two have been the best players in Paris and Rafa is trying to make some history as well.

Nadal has only lost one time ever at Roland Garros and he has now set up against Djokovic in each of the past two years and he won over him in the semifinals and the year before in the final. Djokovic is looking to win the title after coming in over Ernests Gulbis while Nadal won over Murray and that came after Nadal gave up his first set of the tournament and that was against David Ferrer, who he beat in the quarters after matching up with him in the finals last year.

Check here for the French Open TV schedule for Sunday.

Nadal comes in after winning in the quarters over David Ferrer to make it into the quarterfinals for the fifth straight time, a first in his career and now he looks to be on a course to play Djokovic. The two matched up in Italy and Djokovic won that and he has played very well on clay and now he will try and win his first Roland Garros title, while Nadal goes for number nine. Nadal could become the first player to win five tournaments in a row here and he will have to get past Murray, who played five sets and won over home country man Gael Monfils and now they play after Djokovic.
