The US Open Championship is live on NBC and the NBC Sports Live Extra website with a golf live stream from Pinehurst for the PGA tour and the leaderboard has Martin Kaymer leading after his record start and things pick up early for the final round on Sunday as someone gets the major championship win at the United States Open for 2014 after Justin Rose won last year.

Phil Mickelson had a rough day on Saturday and he is out of things and now Kaymer is set to tee off and he is the player with all the pressure at Pinehurst. Kaymer came into the day at eight under and held a five stroke lead coming into the final round on Sunday and that came after he was two over par for the day in Round 3. Kaymer set a US Open record with his scores of 65 over the first two rounds and now he is in position on Sunday to win and the last two players

Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson were in the mix behind Rickie Fowler coming into the day and he put himself in the final group for the first time in his career and now it's up to Kaymer to hang on. Pinehurst has been very tough for players and Kaymer has not had any issues and now he is working on taking the US Open Championship.
