The Chicago Fire and Toronto FC are matching up on the MLS schedule and the soccer match comes a day after team USA lost at the World Cup and the game is streaming online and is live at 8:30 pm ET from Toyota Park in Bridgeview and has both teams looking to keep things going in the second half of the season and comes as the Fire are playing for the first in a month after losing to the Sounders and advancing in the US Open Cup.

Chicago comes into the game last in the eastern conference in the MLS standings and they have won just two games this season and have lost four with eight draws and they have 14 points to stay tied with Montreal. Toronto has played well and they are fourth in the league standings in the east with 20 points and they have the chance to keep moving up with a win against Chicago on the road in Illinois. The Seattle Sounders and Sporting Kansas city are the top teams in the league and Seattle is the top team overall with 35 points and they are once again looking strong despite playing a bit without Clint Dempsey while he has been at the World Cup.

The Fire start up their second half schedule with the World Cup and Open Cup break finally ending and they are back in league play after falling at home by a goal in a 3-2 match against Seattle. Toronto comes in after playing to a draw last weekend with the Red Bulls and they have been out of the defeat column fir five games coming into this matcup.

The performance from the United States in the World Cup has only enhanced the MLS and the league is hoping for a boost in talent and viewers after soccer fever took over the US for a few weeks. A number of players on the team play in the MLS, including Dempsey as well as Graham Zusi, Michael Bradley and Chris Wondolowski and the team was very good in the tournament and should hold their heads high after the way they played.
