NY Giants vs. Buffalo Bills Schedule: Start Time and TV Channel For Hall of Fame Game Preseason

The NY Giants and Buffalo Bills are playing the Hall of Fame game on Sunday night and the game schedule starts at 8 pm ET on NBC and is live streaming from the NBCSN Sports Live extra website from Fawcett Stadium in Canton for the first preseason game of the NFL year and has Eli Manning and EJ Manuel looking to start things off on the right foot at the HOF after big names like Michael Strahan and Andre Reed made it in.

The Hall of Fame enshrinement is always emotional and it was once again on Saturday night and now the New York Giants are playing the Buffalo Bills in the first preseason game of the season. The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys played in it last season and now the Giants get the chance to do it and this is big for them, as the team is installing a new offense. Playing an extra preseason game could be huge for Eli Manning and the team as they try to rebound and the quarterback is trying to bounce back from rossing 27 interceptions last year.

This game could be interesting for other reasons as well, as the NFL is testing out some new extra point rules and those will be kicked from farther away and they will be from the 15-yard line in this game. Manuel is expected to play a couple series and likely the first quarter, while Eli Manning and the Giants starters may also get some extra time since they are working in a new offense. Manning is a strong game manager and while he will be with his first new coordinator in a while, he should be able to adjust to what Ben McAdoo wants to do this year.

Last season the Giants started 0-6 and ended up 7-9 and they missed the playoffs once again, while the Buffalo Bills went 6-10 and have not been the postseason in quite a while. Odell Beckham will be out for the Giants while dealing with a hamstring injury, while Sammy Watkins could get some playing time for the Bills and he comes in as the teams first round pick and most exciting player. Weston Richburg is the top rookie to watch along with Andre Williams for the Giants, as those two players could be thrust into main roles this season with injuries.

The Giants open the regular preseason with the Steelers next week and then the team plays against the Indianapolis Colts before matching up with the New York Jets at Met Life Stadium. The Giants and New England Patriots play in Week 4 of the preseason and that comes before the team opens the season with the Detroit Lions on the early game with Monday Night Football before playing Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals.

The team hosts the Houston Texans in week 3 and then the team hits the road for their first divisional game with the Washington Redskins and that will be a Thursday night football matchup on CBS. The Atlanta Hawks are on the schedule in Week 5 and then the team has two road games in the division with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys before a much needed bye Week. The second half of the season has the Seahawks, Colts, Cowboys and 49ers early and that makes it a very tough schedule.
