The New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts are playing on the NFL schedule in Week 3 and the matchup is live from Lucas Oil Stadium at 8 pm ET as Drew Brees and Andrew Luck face off and the TV coverage is from CBS and is streaming online from NFL.com and comes ahead of the Saints playing against the Ravens.
The Saints were one of the best offensive teams in the NFL last season and they matchup against the Colts after playing against the Titans, while the Ravens are on the schedule as the final game of the preseason. The Saints were ranked in the top two with the Broncos in passing yards per game and they open the season with a tough stretch, as they are on the road for three of the first four games of the year and that is never an easy things to deal with. The Saints have won their first two games of the preseason and they will be opening the season a division game against the Atlanta Falcons on the road, while the Cleveland Browns will be next on the road as well. The team has a home game against the Vikings and then the steam plays against the Dallas Cowboys on the road on Sunday night football in their first national game of the year.
The Saints have a bye in week 6 and that comes after another division game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that is an important matchup for the team. The team also has a tough road after the bye week with the Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers on the road, while the Green Bay Packers are in the middle of that and they will be playing on Sunday night football. The team also has games against playoff teams with the 49ers and Bengals and that comes before the team plays against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night football.
That stretch of games will be tough, but they are all at home on the turf with Brees and company and they now have Brandin Cooks and he could be a breakout player as a rookie. The team finishes the season with the Steelers on the road and the Chicago Bears on Monday night football on the road and in the middle of that is the Panthers, while division games against the Buccaneers and Falcons end the season.
Andrew Luck and the Colts should be very good again and they could be back in the playoffs after adding Hakeem Nicks. The team should be one of the best passing teams in the league if they can stay good with injuries and Trent Richardson should be better than last season.
