The Stanford Cardinal and UC Davis are playing on the college football schedule on Saturday to open the season and the game is live from the on TV Pac-12 Network and online as David Shaw leads his team into 2014 and they will have to replace Tyler Gaffney and they are one of the favorites in the conference and in the nation for the playoffs.
Stanford is coming into the season with high expectations and they have a tough early schedule with three ranked teams in five games, including a road matchup with Notre Dame team opens with UC Davis and then plays against USC at home and that comes ahead of a matchup with Army. The team has a road game with Washington after the Army game and that is back to back with Notre Dame before the team is home with Washington State.
Arizona State is next on the schedule on the road and Oregon State and Oregon come after that and those will be three tough games in a row. After playing the Ducks the team has Utah, California and UCLA and that final matchup could be big for the conference.
