Ole Miss and Vanderbilt are playing on the SEC college football schedule on Saturday from LP Field and the Rebels come in ranked and the matchup starts at 4:30 pm ET on ESPN and the WatchESPN website as the Commodores host Mississippi for their first conference games on the schedule and it comes after Miss defeated Boise State in their first game.
Ole Miss comes into the game after getting a win and Bo Wallace was solid once again with nearly 400 yards passing and now they have the chance to keep things going with an early conference game. Ole Miss has been a sleeper pick in the SEC and they could be a very tough team to deal with down the stretch and teams like Alabama and LSU will be keeping an eye on them.
The team has Vandy now and then will play at home against LA Lafayette and Mehis before a huge matchup against Alabama and they are ranked in the top two right now. The team has a tough stretch with Tennessee and Texas A&M and then the team has LSU and Auburn in back to back weeks. The team finishes the season with Arkansas and Mississippi State.
Vandy and Ole Miss kick off their SEC schedule and the Commodores have some tough games with South Carolina, Georgia and Missouri on the schedule and they need to replace Jordan Matthews after he went to the NFL. Matthews was drafted by the Eagles and he had a huge season despite being the only main receiver and he had over 100 catches and 1000 yards.
