Stevan Jovetic is the name that is doing the rounds at Arsenal, as a potential replacement for the outgoing Robin Van Persie.
According to several reports, Arsene Wenger has made Jovetic his No 1 choice, if club captain Van Persie leaves the Emirates.
Wenger is a big fan of Jovetic's talents and even considered making a bid for the 22-year-old during last summer's chaotic transfer window.
So how would Jovetic fit into Arsenal's plans?
The Montenegro and Fiorentina striker can be a perfect fit at Arsenal. He has loads of vision and technical ability, the two things that Wenger looks for in a player.
Jovetic scored 14 goals for Fiorentina last season in just 27 games and has a healthy record for his country as well, having netted 9 times in 20 appearances.
Arsenal lacked the presence of a real No 10 last year. Someone who can play behind the first striker, someone capable of creating chances for his team as well as scoring them.
Jovetic, if he signs for Arsenal - and that is a big if - can play behind Olivier Giroud with Lukas Podolski down the left and Theo Walcott, Alex-Oxlade chamberlain or Gervinho on the right. With Podolski capable of playing through the middle, Giroud and the German can also constantly swap places, creating more havoc for the rival team's defense.
With the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey and Alexander Song starting the play from deep in the midfield, the Gunners will have the perfect attacking formation.
Jovetic can be the player that Arsenal have been missing ever since Cesc Fabregas and his incredible creative talents left the Emirates stadium for Barcelona. Jovetic is capable of playing up on his own, but prefers the role behind the striker, which will work out perfectly for Giroud or Podolski.
However, the question remains if Wenger will be ready to fork out over £25 million ($39 million) for the Fiorentina man. Jovetic is considered one of the best talents in Serie A, and has been previously linked with the likes of Chelsea and Juventus.
If a bidding war ensues, Arsenal will certainly be priced out of a move. Therefore the trick for Wenger will be to move quietly in the transfer market and hope to seal the deal for the 22-year-old, like he generally does, before other clubs with deeper pockets catch wind of the situation.
Another aspect working in Arsenal's favor will be the interest shown by Fiorentina for striker Marouane Chamakh, with the Italian club putting in an offer for the striker. If the Gunners can convince Viola to give up Jovetic for Chamakh and cash; Arsenal and their fans might be able to put the loss of Van Persie behind them.
