The first game of the Division Series starts up past 5 pm ET on TBS for the American League and that has the Detroit Tigers visiting the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. The matchup has Max Scherzer against Chris Tillman and that will be for Game 1, while Justin Verlander will pitch game 2 for the Tigers. The Orioles won the AL East, while the Tigers won the AL Central over the Royals and now they will matchup in Baltimore.

The second game of the day has the Kansas City Royals and the LA Angels matching up in California and Game 1 will have Jason Vargas against Jered Weaver. Vargas once played for the Angels and now he will face off against them after James Shields pitched in the wild card game. That matchup for the ALDS is also on TBS and starts up past 9 pm ET.

The NLDS gets started on Friday and that has two games going, while the overall schedule has four games with two other games in the AL also on the docket. The Dodgers and the Cardinals are playing in LA and that game has the best pitching matchup of the playoffs with Adam Wainwright and Clayton Kershaw going at it. The Game 1 matchup is on Fox Sports 1 and the second game of the evening will have the Angels and Royals.

The other NLDS series has the Giants and the Washington Nationals and that will have Jake Peavy throwing for the Giants in the game. Madison Bumgarner put the team into this series after pitching a complete game against the Pirates in the wild card and now they are primed for another deep run with the way they are playing. Brandon Crawford hit the first grand slam for any shortstop in the WS and now the Giants have momentum as they open against the Dodgers.

The Saturday matchups have the NLDS games and those have the Giants and the Nationals playing early before the dodgers and the Cardinals. The second matchup has Lance Lynn against Zack Greinke and that should be another strong pitching matchup in the playoffs.
