The Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames are playing live on the NHL schedule on Wednesday night and the matchup has the Hawks hosting at the United Center and things start up past 8 pm ET as Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Corey Crawford host the western conference matchup after a win over the Buffalo Sabres.

The Blackhawks come into the season after suffering a devastating loss against the Kings in the west finals and that last game was in overtime. The team just missed out on the chance to defend their Stanley Cup title and now they come in as one of the best teams in the west once again.
