The San Francisco Giants have advanced over the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS to the World Series after a home run from Travis Ishikawa and they now will face the Kansas City Royals in the Fall Classic for 2014 and things pick up next Tuesday after SF won the series 3-1 to take the National League championship.
The World Series schedule will pick up next Tuesday and now the Kansas City Royals have advanced to the Fall Classic and they come in after the Giants were the winner of the NLCS between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco to see who will travel to KC for Game 1 of the series and that will be on October 21 from Kauffman Stadium and on TV from FOX.
The Royals now have not lost in eight games during the postseason after winning over the Athletics in the wild card and now they come into the WS with plenty of momentum. The team swept the Orioles in the ALCS and the Angels in the ALDS, taking down the two best teams in the league. The Royals now await the winner of the Cardinals and Giants series and San Francisco is close to closing that out with a win on Thursday night.
