The LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors are playing on the NBA preseason schedule on Tuesday night and the game is live from ORACLE Arena at 10:30 pm ET and on TV from TNT and streaming online from the network as Los Angeles heads up North for a California rivalry game and it comes after these two teams matched up in the playoffs last year with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Stephen Curry.
The Clippers have a new owners after all of the nasty business last year and the Warriors come in with a new head coach in Steve Kerr this season. The Clippers were the top ranked offensive team by points scored last season and they averaged over 105 points last season and now they come back with Paul and Griffin looking to take the team even farther than last season.
The Clippers last played against the Denver Nuggets on the preseason schedule and that was a loss and now they play the Warriors before a matchup with the Suns. The Clippers are 1-4 on the preseason and the Warriors are 4-2 and now they matchup. Both teams have title aspirations this season and Griffin comes in after dropping 27 points and DeAndre Jordan had 12 rebounds and the Clippers feel like they can be the top team in the west this season after what they did last year.
The Warriors come into the game after a loss to the Rockets and they have a matchup with the Denver Nuggets next on the schedule after playing the Clippers. The team decided to keep Klay Thompson and they felt that he was worth sticking with along with Steph Curry over trading for Kevin Love. The Warriors come into the season after ranking in the top 10 in both points scored and points allowed per game and they are hoping to keep the defense tight after getting rid of Mark Jackson.
The Clippers lost their first three games before a win over the Jazz and now they are playing the Warriors. The team has the Suns and Trail Blazers next on the schedule and then they will open up the regular season with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers back to back. The team heads into November with an easy start after playing Sacramento and Utah and then things pick up with the Warriors, Blazers and Spurs all in a row and those come before home matchups with the Suns and Bulls.
