The Minnesota Wild and NY Rangers are playing live on the NHL season schedule on Monday night and the game from New York is at Madison Square Garden and the matchup has the Rangers looking to bounce back from a loss with Henrik Lundqvist and Rick Nash as they are fifth in the Metro division.

The Rangers come into the game after a loss against the Canadiens and that was the first time the teams faced off since their wild playoff series last year. The teams went six games and it was very tough in the east finals and the Rangers ended up in the Stanley Cup as winners of the conference. The team next has the Winnipeg Jets on the schedule and both the Wild and Rangers come into the game with four wins and eight points and once again the Rangers have started the season without any overtime losses.

That happened last season as well and now they are looking to move up in the division standings and they come in doing nothing that great to start the season. The team is ranked 15th in goals scored and the goaltending has not been great, but the Rangers have Henrik and they are confident he can bounce back. The team has won three of four games and had won three in a row before losing to the Wild and coming up after the Jets they have the Blues, Red Wings and Maple Leafs.
