The Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys are playing live on the Monday night football schedule for Week 8 of the NFL season and the game from AT&T Stadium starts at 8:30 pm ET on TV from ESPN and streaming from the WatchESPN website as the NFC East leading Cowboys host and it has Tony Romo against Colt McCoy and company with Robert Griffin still out for Wash and Jay Gruden at Jerry's World.

The Redskins have been a mess this season and the Cowboys are leading the division and they have one of the best players in the league with DeMarco Murray. The running back is leading the league in rushing and he has been the MVP so far and he is getting ready for another big chance on Monday night against a bad defense from the Redskins. Tony Romo has played very well and the offensive line for the Cowboys has been top notch and that is why they look like Super Bowl contenders.

The Cowboys come into the game on Monday night after a win over the Giants and that saw some big offensive performances from the team, including from Romo and Murray. Romo had over 270 yards in the game and Murray had 128 yards rushing, while Dez Bryant also had a strong game with 151 yards receiving in the matchup.

The team is ranked first in the league in rushing yards and they are in the top half in passing yards and the defense has been able to hold tight as well. The team has a tough matchup coming next with the Arizona Cardinals and that finishes a stretch of three straight home games for the Cowboys. This season the team has only lost once and they now have won six straight games and they can make it seven with a win against the Redskins.

The Cowboys have the Cardinals and then a road matchup with the Jaguars and that will be an easy game. The Cowboys them travel to play against the Giants and that comes in a stretch of three games on the road in four weeks. The team has the Giants and then the Eagles on the road before playing the Bears at home. The team has the Eagles home and away in a three week span and those games will be huge. The Colts are next on the schedule and then the team finishes with the Redskins and that will be on the road for Tony Romo and company.

The Redskins are 2-5 on the season and they have been doing things without RG3 and while they won over the Titans last week, it was a two point win and that came after losing five of six games. The team now has the Cowboys and Vikings on the road and they next will have a bye week after that. Three of the next four are on the road and that includes the 49ers and the Colts after that and they also have the Buccaneers in that stretch. The team finishes with the Rams, Giants, Eagles and then the Cowboys to end the season.
