Chelsea Transfer News: Oscar Confirms Chelsea Medical, But Says He Hasn't Signed a Contract Yet

Oscar confirmed he had a medical at Chelsea's Cobham training ground, but revealed he had not signed anything yet.

The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with the Blues beating out competition from Tottenham Hotspur. Widespread reports suggested, Oscar, who is a part of Brazil's Olympic squad, had driven straight to Chelsea's facilities after arriving in London.

The playmaker, speaking after Brazil's 2-0 win over Great Britain in an Olympic warm-up match at the Riverside stadium, admitted to meeting up with Chelsea's doctors, but reiterated he had not signed a contract yet.

"I only had a meeting with the doctor, nothing else," Oscar told reporters via an interpreter. "I didn't sign any contract yet and I will wait until the end of the Olympic games to decide my future.

"All Brazilian players have this dream. I have, like everybody, the dream to play in Europe and the Premier League."

Oscar was impressive for Brazil, as the South Americans ran the Great Britain team ragged, with Neymar and Spurs midfielder Sandro scoring the goals.

"It's like a dream for me, participating in the Olympics, it's so important for my career and I hope to win the gold medal here.

"It was a good result tonight but we have to improve and grow during the competition to reach the final.

"I am enjoying, it is not a pressure, I am focused on the Olympics but want to show the British fans that I can play well here."

Oscar started for Brazil on Friday night, playing in the center of a three-pronged attack, behind the lone striker Leandro Damiao.

That is the same formation expected to be implemented by Chelsea, with Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Oscar playing behind Fernando Torres. If the form shown by the Internacional player is anything to go by, Chelsea fans will have a mouth-watering attacking talent to enjoy, as the Blues look to defend the Champions League title and compete for the English Premier League next season.
