The Wisconsin Badgers and Purdue Boilermakers are playing live on the Big Ten College Football conference schedule on Saturday and the game from ESPN is on TV from ESPNU and streaming from the WatchESPN website at 12 pm noon from Ross-Ade Stadium as the number 25 Badgers play and Melvin Gordon comes in as one of the leading rushers in the nation and Wisc will be looking for a win.
Wisconsin comes into the game after a win over Rutgers and that was a shutout on the road and now they have the Boilermakers before a big matchup with Nebraska. The game against the Huskers is huge for the conference and with Michigan State and Ohio State playing this weekend, that will be the next big matchup. The Badgers end the season with Iowa and Minnesota and they could be in the mix in things with a 3-1 record in the Big Ten.
The team comes in after losing their first game of the season to LSU and since then they have won six of seven and now have won three in a row. The last two games saw the team allow a combined seven points and they have the third ranked defense in the nation in points per game. The team is rushing for over 330 yards per game and that is absurd and they are also ranked in the top 20 in scoring. The team is a force to be reckoned with and this should be an interesting finish.
Gordon has been one of the best players in the nation this season and he has 1296 yards and 18 touchdowns and he is a Heisman candidate. The Badgers have been very strong rushing the ball and playing defense and that could be enough to put the team over the top this year/
