The Fantasy Football Week 11 schedule gets started up with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills on Thursday night and fantasy football owners should look to start Damien Williams over Lamar Miller, as Miller is dealing with an injury, while Jarvis Landry and Charles Clay could be sleepers for Ryan Tannehill in the matchup.
The Dolphins Thursday matchup is a big one, as they are in the playoff mix and they are also in the division mix. The Dolphins may be without Lamar Miller on Thursday and that would open the door for Williams, Daniel Thomas and LaMichael James for fantasy owners. The injury report has Miller as probable for the game and even if he does play, there is a chance he will be limited. Miller has been very good stepping up this season and if he is out, Williams should end up with the most carries for the Dolphins.
Miller had only 11 snaps last week and had five touches before leaving and that was his lowest output for the season. Miller has over 500 yards rushing this season and he has been very consistent, even though he has just one 100-yard game this year. Miller has 528 yards this season and he is getting close to besting his totals from last year and he comes in after rushing four times for 10 yards last week. Before that Miller had at least 11 carries in every game this season and now he could be limited for this matchup on Thursday.
The good thing for the Dolphins is that they will have a long break after this and that could give Miller enough time to get fully healed for next week. The Dolphins like what they have in Williams and with Daniel Thomas losing a fumble last week, Williams could end up as the player with the most touches of the RBs in the game. Williams comes in after rushing for 37 yards on seven carries and he also added three catches for 27 yards in the matchup. Williams has 100 yards this season and he is averaging 3.2 yards per game on 31 carries. Williams has prime speed and he is the best back the Dolphins have past Miller and that is why he could get the most carries.
Thomas lost a fumble last week and he has just 115 yards this season and has not been all that effective. The Dolphins offense needs the backs to play consistently and Ryan Tannehill will be looking for some solid production on Thursday night. The Dolphins have a tough schedule down the back stretch of the season and that makes this game against the Bills even more important.
Jarvis Landry has been playing well this season and he now has 37 catches for 354 yards and two TDs on the year. Landry made seven catches last week for 53 yards against the Lions and he now clearly is the second WR for the team past Mike Wallace. Brian Hartline has been solid, but Landry has been playing much better and he now has the chance to put up some big numbers this week.
