Olympics 2012 Tennis Results: Serena Williams Wins, Breezes By Urszula Radwanska in Second Round

As expected, Serena Williams had a marvelous performance once again. This time, at this expense of Polish tennis player, Urszula Radwanska. She accomplished the victory in two straight sets 6-2, 6-3.

Williams do not get to do her typical celebration as the last play was challenged. The ball looked to have gone out of bounds, but after the challenge the ball was clearly inside.

Serena once again used aces to help her win. She had 8 aces compared to Radwanska's single ace. She also had more unforced errors than the polish player, but that did not prevent Williams from winning the match.

Towards the end of the second set, Williams played in a very laid back manner, which led to the errors. She hit balls right into the net, wasting great opportunities to put the match away early.

Williams will now move on to the third round. She will wait for an opponent as Italian Francesca Schiavone and Russian Vera Zvonareva are currently competing in their second round matchup.

Serena will now go cool down and get ready for her Women's Doubles match along side sister Venus Williams who won today and moved on to the second round at the 2012 London Olympics.

That match is set to begin in a couple of hours. The Williams Sisters are currently the 2008 defending Women's Doubles gold medalists.
