The NY Knicks and Charlotte Hornets are playing live on the NBA schedule and the game from Time Warner Cable Arena starts up at 7 pm ET and has New York looking to get back into things after a loss to the Cavs and they have now been historically bad for the franchise and Carmelo Anthony will look to lead his team out of it against another bad east club.
The Knicks come into the game after a loss against the Cavaliers and that came after a bad shooting night from Carmelo Anthony. Had Melo made some more shots, the team likely would have won, as they lost by just three and now they have the Hornets before the Blazers. The team comes in with just four wins on the season and they are looking to bounce back from this slide and this is a good chance to do it against a bad Hornets team.
Tim Hardaway scored 20 points, while Anthony added 10 rebounds and four assists and he has been the leader for the team all year. The Knicks were not expected to be good this season, but many did not see them being this bad this quickly. The team is averaging 93 points per game and they are ranked 11th in points allowed this season. The Hornets come into the game playing very bad and now they have a bad team coming in and this is a matchup at the bottom of the east.
The Hornets come in after a loss to the Bulls and the team will play at home next against the Boston Celtics after the game against the Knicks. The team is averaging 93 points per game and they are allowing 101 points per game this season. Kemba Walker is playing well this year and he is likely off limits, but the team may consider trading Lance Stephenson. Stephenson added eight rebounds and four assists in the loss to the Bulls, while Walker had 23 points.
