Olympic Soccer Bracket 2012: Men's Football Standings Set, Matchups Ready for Quarterfinals on Saturday

After three days of qualifiers, Men's Soccer soccer has its eight quarterfinalists for Saturday.

From Group A Great Britain and Senegal moved on. In Group B Mexico and South Korea moved on. Brazil and Egypt will represent Group C and Group D will have Spain and, wait, sorry there is no Spain in the quarterfinals, Japan and Honduras will play on Saturday. 

These is how the bracket is set up.

Great Britain vs. Korea: GB won two games and tied one, earning a total of seven points in the competition. S. Korea had tallied five points in their three matches. 

Brazil vs Honduras: Brazil went a perfect 3-0 in qualifiers and racked up nine points for the best Olympic performance so far. Brazil also scored the most goals with nine. They will face a Honduran team that won 1 match, which eliminated Spain from contention, and tied two matches. 

Mexico vs. Senegal:  finished in first place in Group B as they tied one game and won two. Senegal finished right behind Great Britain in Group A. They also won one match and tied two during the qualifiers. 

Japan vs. Egypt: Japan finished with two wins in the qualifers and tie. They were in first place in Group B. Japan will face The second place finisher from Group C, Egypt. Egypt won a game, lost a game and tied a game.
