NFL Preseason Schedule 2012: Giants vs. Jets, 49ers vs. Texans, Robert Griffin III All in Action Today

New York will witness another preseason head-to-head matchup between their two clubs. The New York Jets and Super Bowl winning New York Giants, will take the field today as both teams continue to make cuts in their rosters prior to the beginning of the 2012 season that is just weeks away. 

One team will get their first win of the preseason as both teams lost during Week 1.

The Giants lost in their first matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-32. The game was theirs in the first half, but the Jaguars outscored the Giants 18-7 in the second half to take the one-point victory.

The Jets also found themselves on the losing end of their game as the Cincinnati Bengals defeated them 17-6. 

The action begins at 7 p.m. ET from Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Also in action today, the San Francisco Giants face a young Texans team that is trying to repeat in 2012 as the winners of the AFC South. The Niners are also trying to continue doiminating the NFC West . 

Robert Griffin III will take the field again today as he continues to learn how to operate in a professional football atmosphere.

49ers vs. Texans: 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT
Washington Redskins vs. Chicago Bears: 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT
Kansas City Chiefs vs. St. Louis Rams: 8 p.m. ET
Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos: 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT
