The Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic are playing live on the NBA schedule on Sunday night and the matchup from the Amway Center starts at 6 pm ET on NBATV and has the Cavs coming in on a great run and they are second in the east and leading the central division with LeBron James playing at an MVP level with Kyrie Irving.
The Cavaliers come into the game after a win against the San Antonio Spurs and they got an amazing performance from Kyrie Irving, who dropped 57 points against the team. LeBron had seven assists and Tristan Thompson added nine rebounds while winning in overtime against the Spurs. The team will next play on the road against the Miami Heat as James returns once again to South Beach.
The Cavaliers are ranked sixth in the league in points per game this season and they are 11th in defense. James is playing very well and Irving has been putting up great numbers while Kevin Love continues to try and get things going. The Orlando Magic come into the game after a loss against the Boston Celtics and they will next play on the road against the Houston Rockets.
The Magic come into the game at fifth in the southeast division and they have 21 wins on the season and are ranked 25th in points per game. The team has been playing very well and they have won 23 of 28 games and the Cavs are starting to take form as one of the best teams in the league. The Cavs have been getting it from Irving and they still have time before the playoffs to get Love where he needs to be.
The Cavs won the last time they played the Magic and that was without Irving and now Kyrie comes in after scoring over 50 points. The Cavaliers have not lost to the Magic in years and now things are about getting in position for the playoffs.
