Next Generation Series ESPN Live Stream: Tottenham vs. FC Barcelona in Action at 2 P.M. ET

Tottenham and FC Barcelona will set off the Next Generation Series competition of the best young talent across the European continent. Their match is scheduled to take off at 2 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CET.

The tournament features 24 of Europe's finest clubs and goes for six months.

It was started in 2011 and founded by Brentford Sport Director Mark Warburton and TV Producer Justin Andrews. It started out with 16 teams, but after gaining worldwide popularity, it was expanded to 24 teams. 

Some of the teams competing, aside from Tottenham Hotspur and FC Barcelona, are:
Internazionale and Juventus of Italy
Borussia Dortmund and VfL Wolfsburgof Germany
Manchester City FC of the United Kingdown
Paris St. Germain of France

Tottenham and Barcelona compose the Group 1 pool, in which Wolfsburg and Anderlecht will also partake in.

Each group is made up of four teams, except for Group 6, which only has three clubs.
