Everton vs. Newcastle Livestream: Watch ESPN Premier League Match Up at 8 p.m. GMT/3 p.m. ET

Newcastle and Everton will lock up in their match today in Goodison Park home of The Toffees. 

Everton is coming off a 2-0 defeat against West Brom United. They are currently in the middle of the standings in the league. They have played three matches and are 2-1-0. A win could catapult them into the second or third place spot right behind Manchester United.

Newcastle would also get a big boost with a win today. They are towards the bottom of the pack in the standings. Newcastle are 1-1-1 so far in the season and gathered four points in these three matches. 

Midfielder Darron Gibson is out for up to five weeks with a thigh strain for Everton. There are no other problems in their starting roster. Bryan Oviedo is not yeat available as he was signed at the deadline. He is currently working getting a permit and arranging his paperwork. 

Tim Krul of Newcastle is out with an elbow injury. He is not expected to be out long, but could miss up to three weeks with the injury. Fabricio Coloccini has a hamstring injury, Cheick Tiote is still out with a calf injury, Ryan Taylor is also out due to an ailing knee, midfielder Haris Vuckic has a groin issue and the last person sidelined is Ameobi with a hamstring.
