Two of Serie A's crisis clubs square-up as struggling AC Milan welcome Cagliari to the San Siro at 2:45 p.m. ET.

The situation is becoming critical for AC Milan and beleaguered coach Massimiliano Allegri, whose side have lost three of their first four Serie A matches this season.

Allegri will also have to deal with suspensions to Cristian Zapata and Kevin Prince-Boateng, both of whom were sent off in the weekend defeat to Udinese. Mathieu Flamini is also likely to miss out, this time due to injury, while long-term concerns Alexandre Pato and Didac Vila are far from fitness.

Much like their hosts, Cagliari too have had the trickiest of starts to their Serie A campaign as they have yet to register a win this season.

The latest controversy surrounding the health of their stadium and the criticized behaviour of their president Massimo Cellino has not helped the matters at all.
