2012 NBA Player Rankings: ESPN Analyst Steven A. Smith And Skip Bayless Disagree With Top 5, Feel Kobe Bryant And Dwayne Wade Got Snubbed (Video)

ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless are two of the most outspoken characters featured on the network solely due to their unfiltered opinions on sports topics.

Although both men tend to disagree about different topics, both of them were on the same page when reacting to ESPN's NBA player rankings. At the time of the segment, Smith and Bayless saw that Kobe Bryant (6) and Dwayne Wade (8) were not named as top five NBA players.

ESPN revealed the rest of their list after the show aired with LeBron James (1), Kevin Durant (2), Dwight Howard (3), Chris Paul (4) and Derrick Rose (5).

Smith argued that Chris Paul and Derrick Rose should not be ahead of Bryant and Wade on the list.

"That's blasphemous," said Smith about Bryant not being considered a top five player.

Smith also wasn't sold on the idea that Dwight Howard being in the top five was justifiable. Smith recognized Howard as being the best center in the league, but argued that his all-around game is not good enough to have him placed above Bryant and Wade.

Bayless argued that he believed that Bryant was not placed higher on the list because of his poor performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder during last season's playoffs. Bayless also argued that Carmelo Anthony was deserving of being a top five player.
