Wigan will look to halt a run of three consecutive Premier League defeats when they host Everton at DW Stadium at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Everton striker Nikica Jelavic will be the main danger for Wigan when the two sides clash.

The 27-year-old Croatian scored twice for Everton in their 3-1 win over Southampton last week and has three goals for the season to sit equal ninth on the Premier League scorers' standings.

Jelavic's brace against Southampton takes his career tally to 12 goals from 18 league games for Everton, since joining the Merseyside club from Scotland's Rangers in January.

While Everton have equalled their best start to a Premier League campaign, this is Wigan's worst.

Wigan have Jordi Gomez available for the visit of Everton after the midfielder won his appeal against his sending off last week.

The Spaniard won a claim for wrongful dismissal after receiving a red card early in the second half of the loss against Sunderland and will now not serve a three-match ban.
