Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks will try for their second consecutive win in Spain against Barcelona at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The FC Barcelona Regal team is the most accomplished team in the most accomplished league in Europe. Barcelona has won the ACB Spanish League title 17 times, including last season when they defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in a best-of-5 final.

They also reached the semis of the Euroleague Championship before losing to Olympiacos. They have won two Euroleague title and have been runner-up five times.

The Mavs on the other hand are coming off a 89-84 win on Saturday over ALBA Berlin.

The biggest issue coming out the win was the 27 turnovers, many of them being unforced mistakes, made by the Mavs.

In the game against Barcelona, the Mavs will look to have better protection over the basketball.

"The first game, the turnovers were a big issue,'' Carlisle said. "And we've talked a lot about it the last couple days. And we need five guys going in there to rebound. Both things are about possession of the ball and we need to do a better job of it.''

Another issue was the injury of Roddy Beaubois who sustained a left ankle injury Saturday night. Beaubois will be out of the game against Barcelona, but the injury isn't expected to be a long-term issue.

"I felt it twist" Beaubois said. "But I knew it wasn't so bad."
