Houston Texans Rumors and News: Will Jadeveon Clowney Be Healthy for the 2015 Season After Microfracture Surgery?

Clowney was a dramatic disappointment in 2015, mainly because of his nagging injuries and the need for recovery time. A team physician stated that Clowney looks "spectacular" following serious microfracture knee surgery last season. Clowney only played 4 games in 2014 and suffered a lateral right meniscus tear in his first game as a rookie. He had arthroscopic surgery the very next day and throughout the season continued swelling and pain in his knee forced him to undergo microfracture surgery.

The rehabilitation schedule for such a procedure is rigorous and grueling as Clowney would find out but this effectively ended his 2014 rookie season. Clowney is going to need to condition and work to get back to where he was that made him a first pick overall draft sensation. If Clowney gets anywhere close to 100 percent he will do some damage on the Texans defensive line especially with the top 100 2015 number 1 overall player JJ Watt next to him. The Texans also signed Benardrick McKinney to help solidify their linebackers put pressure on opposing teams quarterback. The combination of these rushers would be a tremendous help when taking on the division champs, the Indianapolis Colts.
