Hawks vs. Spurs Live Stream: Watch NBA Preseason Games at 8:30 p.m. ET

The San Antonio Spurs host the Atlanta Hawks at 8:30 p.m. ET/6:30 PT.

For the Spurs, it will be preparation for another season that should end with them in the playoffs. Their core of "old" players is back as Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are entering another season together.

Last year, they were bounced out of the playoffs by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Many thought the Spurs had this one in the bag being the more experienced playoff team, but that was not the case.

Following their elimination, many wondered if the Spurs were too hold. So what did they do? Resign the all-time playoff blocking leader, Duncan, to a three-year $30 million contract. Though 36 years of age, Duncan has proven that he can still perform.

For the Hawks, they are looking at a season without their long time guard, Joe Johnson, as they sent him to the Brooklyn Nets over the summer.

Many do not have the Hawks competing in the east, but they still possess a talented youg club with Al Hartford and Josh Smith.

Both teams are 1-0 so far in the 2012-2013 preseason.

The Spurs played Montepaschi Siena and defeated them 106-77. The Hawks defeated the 2011-2012 NBA Champion Miami heat 92-79 on Sunday.
