NFL News: Will Ray Rice Be Back in the NFL Anytime Soon after Domestic Violence Issues?

Ray Rice is enlisting Greg Schiano's help to help get his name back in the NFL.

Rice is one of the few players ever to be black listed from the NFL because of the now infamous elevator tape that showed Rice knocking out his fiancée (now wife). Rice is 28 and has relocated from Baltimore for obvious reasons; he has apparently been working out nonstop in Connecticut just in case he gets invited to sit down with a team. The biggest concern for Rice is the public's reaction to the signing of him at any point during the NFL season or offseason.

Rice still remains the most controversial NFL player of this generation so finding a landing spot would be difficult to say the least. Rice was in decline in his final season with the Ravens and managers have found this to be the perfect reason not to look at him any further aside from the controversy that has swallowed him whole.

As the season goes along and injuries occur it would be interesting to see if a team offers him a chance to replace a starting running back however this is pretty unlikely. Rice may need to retire the thought of ever playing in the NFL again.
