The NFL training camp schedule will start to pick up at the end of the month and all 32 teams will be in action over the next few weeks and there are plenty of interesting roster battles, quarterback competitions and interesting storylines among teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers.
The Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers will start training camps early since they are playing in the Hall of Fame game, while there are teams opening up rookie camps this week. The Baltimore Ravens are having rookies show up this week, while the Arizona Cardinals will start camp with veterans on July 31 in Glendale. The Cardinals are one of the teams that is staying home, while the Ravens also will have camp at home in Maryland.
The Falcons will open camp on July 30 for veterans and the team comes in looking to get back to the playoffs after a tough season. The Ravens had the Ray Rice situation last year in camp and now they are starting off without that distraction. The Bills will be having camp in Rochester and they open up on July 30 and will also have a joint practice with the Browns. The Bills have Tyrod Taylor, EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel competing to start in camp this year.
The Panthers will hold camp in South Carolina and it starts up at Wofford College on July 30 and the team will have a joint practice with the Dolphins. The Chicago Bears will have camp at Olivet Nazarene University and they open up camp on July 29 for both rookies and veterans. John Fox is coming in to take over for the Bears and he is looking for Jay Cutler to rebound after a down season for Chicago.
The Browns will be having training camp in Berea and they open camp for rookies on July 22 and they have veterans coming in on July 29. The team will also have a joint practice with the Bills. The Dallas Cowboys are holding camp out in Oxnard as usual and they will open for rookies three days ahead of veterans on July 27 and then on July 30 for the vets. The Broncos have Gary Kubiak taking over as head coach and the team will open camp on July 30 in Englewood.
The Miami Dolphins open up camp in Davis starting on July 29 for rookies and veterans and there is a ton riding on this season. the team just signed Ryan tannehill to a contract extension and the Fins also brought in Ndamukong Suh on a record contract. The Patriots will stay local at Gillette Stadium and the team opens camp for rookies on July 23 and for veterans on July 29. The Giants also will be home for camp, as they will work out at the Quest Diagnostics Center in East Rutherford.
