After a tough run with Liverpool over the past year, Mario Balotelli has come back to AC Milan and he returns after completing a physical to officially finish his move on a one-year loan deal, the BBC reports.
Balotelli only had one goal in his run with Liverpool after coming over from AC Milan last summer. According to the BBC, Liverpool will be paying part of the salary for Balotelli this year and the striker will be taking a pay cut to get the move done. Balotelli could play against Empoli on Saturday for his first match and the 25-year-old told the media that he "had hope (he" would return one day" to the club.
Balotelli moved on a £16 million deal last year to Liverpool and he was brought in to help replace production for the departed Luis Suarez. Balotelli had some issues off the pitch for Liverpool and he did not have a great performance for the Reds. Balotelli's role with the team was diminished with moves for Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings and now he will be heading to Milan.
