Ravens vs. Texans Results: Houston Wins in Blow Out Fashion

In retrospect, maybe the Baltimore Ravens cannot compete without Ray Lewis on defense. They suffered a 43-13 loss on Sunday.

The offense was mediocre. Ray Rice stuffed on all but one play in which he gained 17 yards on a rush. The Texans also stopped Jay Flacco who only threw 147 yards and the Texasn defense interecepted him twice.

Johnathan Joseph ran one of these interceptions back 52-yards and increased the Texans' lead from 9-3 to 16-3.

It was sandwiched in between 29 unanswered points by the Texans.

Arian Foster put the finishing touches on a big day for Houston with a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Foster finished the game with 98 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Andre Johnson led the Texans with 86 yards receiving. Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels had a touchdown each in the game to provide offense on the outside forr the Texans.

Matt Schaub went 23/37 with 256 yards and two touchdowns. He threw no interceptions.

The Texans improved to 6-1 after a crushing defeat to the Green Bay Packers. Many questioned their perfect 5-0 record and this is the first time they beat one of the top teams in the league.

The Ravens' record is now 5-2 and luckily, they have a two-game lead in the AFC North over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Both teams have a Week 8 bye.
