Markieff Morris has made it very clear that he wants a trade from the Phoenix Suns. He has stressed it so much that he received a fine from the NBA regarding his public demands. After the franchise traded his brother to the Detroit Pistons, Morris said he was done with the team and wanted a move before the new season. While trade interest has been low on the power forward, there are a few predicted landing spots as the Toronto Raptors could have a few major moves up their sleeves.

Morris says his future is not with the Phoenix Suns as Basketball Insiders reports that power forward likes the idea of heading to the Toronto Raptors or the Houston Rockets. The star is currently inked to a four-year, $32 million contract making interest low in acquiring him at the moment, but the Raptors and Texans could actually make the trade work with certain pieces on the roster.

The Raptors lost Amir Johnson this offseason and Patrick Patterson may or may not be a solid replacement alongside Luis Scola. Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders, the Raptors could easily move Terrence Ross in the trade deal and get a power forward ready to start. He also believes the Houston Rockets could move Terrance Jones, but that is unlikely to enter the season. Morris' best bet could be the Raptors, but could another move prevent the trade from happening?

According to Tristan Thompson's agent via the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the power forward is not likely to stay with the Cavaliers as he believes the Raptors will offer a max contract for the power forward. Right now, Thompson and the Cleveland Cavaliers are at a standstill with contract talks as the power forward has no intentions of taking anything less than a max contract. The Cavaliers are staying put on their offer which is now straining the relationship and making it realistic that Thompson departs in the coming offseason. Toronto might want to hold off on a trade for Morris if they intend on chasing Thompson next summer. Getting both players under contract would be pointless moving forward.
