NFL Trade Deadline: Rams, Panthers, Chiefs Rumored to Making Moves?

The NFL trade deadline has moved to Thursday, so teams have extra time get their moves in. The Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams and Carolina Panthers have been rumored to possibly shipping some of their players out.

First we begin with the St. Louis Rams.

The Rams have been rumored to possibly shipping their longtime running back, Steven Jackson.

Why Jackson?

According to NFL.com, he will likely not be brought back to St. Louis following the conclusion of the season unless he takes a pay deduction.

Possible suitors?

The Green Bay Packers who are lacking a legitimate back in their offense. Jackson could bring balance to a Packer team that has been on a tear as of late and has a dominant quarterback with great receivers.

Carolina Panthers: RB DeAngelo Williams
His 1,000-plus rushing yards and 10-plus touchdown performances seem long behind the Panthers' back. He recently lost his starting job to Jonathan Stewart and has only ran for 210 yards in 61 attempts.

The Panthers, as a unit, have been in disarray this season and getting rid of some players does not seem like a bad idea. Pretty sure Cam Newton would not mind some change either.

Kansas City Chiefs: WR Dwayne Bowe
Bowe is probably the most valuable piece the Chiefs have to trade. He is the Chiefs' best receiver in receptions, yards and touchdowns. Bowe has 37 catch for 492 yards and three scores.

In return, NFL.com said interested teams will have to give up a second round pick and also be interested in signing him to a long-term deal.
