NBA Results: Pacers Win, Defeat Raptors 90-88 Thanks to George Hill Bucket

The Indiana Pacers took their first game of the 2012 season in dramatic fashion as they defeated the Toronto Raptors 90-88 as George Hill knocked the game winning shot late in the fourth.

The Pacers rallied back in this one and Hill capped the comeback with a basket with just :02 seconds left to play in the game.

Hill's heroics would not have been possible without a strong game from David West, who held it down for the Pacers in the fourth quarter as they were trailing, scoring 14 of his 25 points in that final quarter.

Paul George chipped in 14 points and controlled the boards grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds.

As the Pacers will take all the credit for battling back, the Raptors will be studying a lot of video following the loss as they let a 10-point lead escape with less than six minutes left to play in the game.

Landry Fields went 0-6 and contributed a total of zero points in his Raptor debut.

Toronto's leading scorer was Kyle Lowry who finished the game with 21 points going 6-11 from the floor and 2-3 from beyond the arc.

Jose Calderon chipped in 15 points in 31 minutes played, while Andrea Barganani had 16 points despite having a horrendous 4-15 night from the floor.

Next up on the Pacers' plates will be the Chicago Bulls on Friday, Nov 2. Meanwhile, the Raptors will roll into the Barclays Center to face the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
