Fantasy Football Recap Week 5: Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans, Andre Johnson, Jalen Strong, DeAndre Hopkins, TY Hilton, Frank Gore, Arian Foster

Indianapolis Colts

Frank Gore (Running Back): Gore had another solid day of running the ball gaining 98 yards on 22 carries and found his way into the end zone for a touchdown. Gore should be finally be on track to be more consistent as he struggled earlier on in the year.

TY Hilton/Andre Johnson (Wide Receiver): Hilton and Johnson surprisingly had solid games for having a backup quarterback in the game; Hasselbeck proved that the Colts weapons could be dangerous regardless of who utilizes them. Hilton caught 5 of 9 targets for 88 yards while Johnson was the main wide receiver today likely motivated by revenge Johnson lit up the Texans. Johnson amassed two touchdowns, 77 yards, and caught 6 out of 7 passes. Johnson is likely to return back to earth during week 6.

Houston Texans

Arian Foster (Running Back): Foster had 19 carries for 41 yards and caught 9 out of 10 passes for 77 yards. Foster was also evaluated for a concussion after suffering a huge hit during the game. He would return but still concerning to see for fantasy owners.

DeAndre Hopkins/ Jalen Strong (Wide Receiver): Hopkins has been on a tear this season and week 5 was no exception. Hopkins finished the game catching 11 of 14 targets for 169 yards. It was Jalen Strong who made an impression in the red zone catching 2 touchdowns on both his targets for 53 yards. Hopkins is clearly the Texans number 1 wide receiver but Strong has shown he belongs in the WR2/3 conversation.
