The action takes place in The O2 Arena as the Barclays ATP World Tour FInals begin on Monday with the best of the best male singles tennis players hitting the court in London.
For Andy Murray, it would be the best way to wrap up the 2012 tennis season.
He won his first major at the U.S. Open after creating a lot of noise in Wimbledon as the semifinalist. Though he lost to Roger Federer, he captured the hearts of many and returned with a strong gold medal performance in the 2012 London olympics.
It would be the perfect ending to the season and an amazing victory to add to his 2012 resume.
However, as previously mentioned, Murray will be facing the best of the best.
Aside from possibly facing Federer, he is in competition with the top eight male tennis players from around the world and that includes, Novak Djokovic of Serbia, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France, David Ferrer of Spain, Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina, Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic and Janko Tipsarevic also of Serbia.
It will be an international competition full of talent.
As noticed, Rafael Nadal has yet to recuperate from his knee issues, therefore he is not in competition.
Federer, the Swiss, comes into the competition as the defending AP World Tour Champion of 2011. He is no longer the No. 1 ranked player after losing in the Swiss Indoors Basel. Djokovic has taken the helm in male's tennins.
With no further ado, here is the schedule and matchup of the ATP World Tour Finals. Eastern Time and London Time available.
